guest questions

Helpful things to know

A few quick answers for the wedding weekend, the lake setting, and the Fourth of July celebration.

What should I wear?

Think summer lake wedding: dressy casual, polished but comfortable. Lightweight fabrics, sundresses, linen, button-downs, slacks, wedges, flats, or comfortable sandals will work well. Because part of the day is outdoors and by the lake, shoes that can handle grass or uneven ground are a good idea.

Should I bring a layer?

Yes. July days can be warm, but the evening can cool down near the water, especially during fireworks. A light sweater, wrap, or jacket is a good idea.

When should I arrive?

For the wedding ceremony, please plan to arrive around 10:00 AM so you have time to park, say hello, and settle in before the 10:30 AM ceremony.

Can I take and share photos?

Absolutely. We would love to see the day through your eyes. Use the Upload Photos / Live Gallery button to add photos and videos to the shared Google Photos album.

What should I bring for lake fun?

If you plan to join the afternoon lake time, bring sunglasses, sunscreen, a towel, and anything you personally need to be comfortable by the water.

Are gifts expected?

No. Your presence for the weekend is truly all we need. We are keeping this celebration focused on time together, memories, and family.
